Continental Racing League runs an amateur sim racing league and publishes its own race graphics to its own social media accounts. This policy explains what we handle and what we do not.

Who we are

Continental Racing League is an amateur sim racing league. We operate this website and the accounts @continentalracingf1league and @crl.continental.r.

What this website collects

Nothing. This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, includes no third-party trackers and has no forms, comment fields or accounts.

Data about our drivers

To produce standings and results we hold, for people who have chosen to race in the league:

• the display name or gamertag they race under;
• their team, car number and nationality as entered for the league;
• their on-track results — finishing positions, lap times, penalties and championship points.

This is competition data, supplied by the driver when they enter and generated by their participation. It is published on this site and in our social media graphics, which is the purpose for which it is collected. We hold no addresses, phone numbers, payment details or identity documents.

A driver who wants their name removed from published standings can ask us and we will remove it.

Our own social media publishing

We use software we wrote ourselves to generate race graphics and post them to our own Instagram and TikTok accounts. That software authenticates as our accounts and only ever publishes to them.

It does not read, collect, store or process any data belonging to other TikTok or Instagram users. It does not access follower lists, comments, messages or anyone else's content. Access tokens for our own accounts are stored locally on the operator's computer and are not shared with anyone.

Third parties

Content we publish is subject to the privacy policies of the platforms it is published on (Instagram/Meta and TikTok). Our race graphics are hosted on Cloudflare R2 so those platforms can retrieve them for publishing. We do not sell or share data with anyone else.

Children

The league is not directed at children under 13, and this site does not knowingly collect information from them.
